Backend Engineer

The office is located in Central Israel (prime location with direct access to the Light Rail) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Scalable Backend Engineering: Leading the development and optimization of mission-critical services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Cloud Infrastructure Mastery: Taking ownership of designing, deploying, and operating high-performance workloads within an AWS ecosystem.
• Global Collaboration: Engaging in cross-border engineering initiatives, including quarterly travel to international sites to align on architectural and product goals.
• Systems Architecture: Designing robust, scalable, and secure backend architectures for data-intensive medical applications.
• Quality & Performance: Ensuring high standards of code quality, observability, and system reliability within a regulated medical-device software environment.
• Technical Communication: Utilizing excellent English skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with global stakeholders and document complex technical designs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Backend Development (C# / .NET) – Mandatory.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS: Proven track record in designing and managing cloud-native workloads – Mandatory.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) – Mandatory.
• Global Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel internationally approximately once every three months – Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of modern software design patterns, microservices, and distributed systems.
