Hardware Test & Validation Engineer

A well-established tech company with cutting-edge hardware technology is seeking a Hardware Test & Validation Engineer to join its core engineering team.

This is a hands-on role in a collaborative and agile environment, ideal for someone who enjoys both lab work and software scripting, and is passionate about driving quality and innovation in silicon development.

🌍 Location: Hasharon area (hybrid flexibility)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans at wafer and unit level
• Write and debug automation scripts in Python (C++/Java – advantage)
• Work with lab equipment such as logic analyzers, SMUs, oscilloscopes
• Analyze test data, identify failure root causes, and collaborate with design teams
• Improve test methodologies and drive automation initiatives
• Participate in design reviews with a test engineering perspective
• Document all procedures and findings clearly

Job requirements:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in post-silicon testing or similar roles
• 3+ years of experience working with ATE testers
• Experience with Advantest 93K (Verigy 93000) – a significant advantage (experience with other ATE platforms and strong learning ability will also be considered)
• Solid understanding of both analog and digital design concepts
• Proficiency in Python; C++ a plus
• Hands-on lab experience and debugging capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and precision
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Background in semiconductors, physics or materials – a plus
