With hundreds of employees worldwide and a significant R&D presence in Israel, the company balances a market-leading core product with a rapid-growth SaaS division.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime high-tech district with direct train access) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

As part of their strategic evolution, they are establishing a specialized GenAI & Agentic Systems unit to pioneer next-generation fraud detection and automated identity orchestration. This is a high-impact leadership role, blending advanced research with production-grade engineering in a high-stakes security environment.

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Leading a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists and Backend Engineers, maintaining a 50% hands-on presence while driving architectural decisions.
• Agentic Systems Development: Architecting and implementing innovative AI Agents and LLM-based Copilots to automate complex identity and security workflows.
• ML Production Engineering: Designing, deploying, and maintaining production-scale systems that integrate ML components, including Model Serving layers and Feature Pipelines.
• Advanced Research & POCs: Leading the research and rapid prototyping of Generative AI techniques, retrieval systems, and fraud detection pipelines.
• Tooling & Orchestration: Developing sophisticated integrations, APIs, and MCPs (Model Context Protocols) to enhance agent capabilities and autonomous execution.
• Scale & Reliability: Ensuring the observability, performance, and scalability of AI services within a mission-critical microservices environment.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Leadership experience leading Backend or ML-Platform engineering teams – Mandatory.
• Expert Coding Skills: Proven proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with hands-on experience building reliable backend services and internal tooling – Mandatory.
• Production ML Experience: Strong track record of deploying and maintaining production systems that integrate ML components and MLOps workflows – Mandatory.
• Distributed Systems: Solid understanding of performance optimization, observability, and operating services at scale – Mandatory.
• Foundational Knowledge: Familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face) is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor engineers through complex architectural challenges.
