Data Engineering Lead | Join a Premier DS Research Team | MLOps & Big Data

Are you a tech-savvy powerhouse looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead to join our Data Science Department at Maptach (Naval Branch).

This isn’t just a maintenance role-you will be an active partner in DS research, leading the entire DE domain for the department.

What You’ll Do:

• Integrate fully into DS research across NLP, Vision, and Time Series Anomaly Detection.
• Lead the Data Engineering domain, building end-to-end data flow architectures—from storage and processing to model training.
• Establish, manage, and develop advanced data infrastructures (DataOps, MLOps).
• Work with massive volumes of data across various maritime, intelligence, and operational domains.
• Collaborate exclusively within a team of high-level Data Scientists.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven track record in Data Engineering and building Big Data pipelines.
• Methodology: Strong knowledge and experience in DataOps and MLOps.
• Code: Proficiency in Python and experience with Git.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative research environment.
