About Us

We build a library of turn-based strategy games inspired by modern board games, developed as digital originals with a strong focus on single-player experience, not ports, and in partnership with board game publishers using existing IPs.

We are a small, bootstrapped indie studio. This role is currently paid below market rates, but includes equity. We are looking for someone who wants to build the studio with us.

About the role

The essence of the role is to make sure the right players discover our games and turn that discovery into long term growth for the studio: everything related to marketing, publishing, and distribution.

• Own publishing and go to market: pricing, discounts, positioning, platform relationships including our own launcher and platforms like Steam, GOG, Mac App Store, and build and manage distribution channels both online and offline;
• Track the market: similar games, trends, and opportunities for visibility and differentiation;
• Secure exposure: festivals, platform featuring, and booths and presence at offline fairs and conventions;
• Build PR and partnerships: creators, press, affiliates, and especially offline board game communities, clubs, retailers, and local organizers;
• Run marketing execution end to end: social, content, and paid campaigns with clear performance tracking;
• Grow and engage the fan base: insiders, early adopters, ambassadors, and community driven activities both online and offline.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge of platforms like Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and how distribution works;
• Strong English speaking and writing skills;
• Experience working with creators, press, communities, or events;
• Comfortable owning both strategy and execution with a strong sense of responsibility.
