Java Software Engineer

A leading Israeli Cyber Security startup specializes in the rapidly evolving domain of Identity Management and Cloud Authorization.

The company has developed a sophisticated SaaS platform designed for global Enterprises, providing automated, scalable identity governance through a modern Microservices architecture. With a robust roster of international clients and significant venture backing, the organization focuses on high-scale Authentication, Authorization, and multi-tenant security solutions.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime high-tech district with direct train access) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Polyglot Backend Development: Engineering core security features using a balanced stack of Java and Go, ensuring high performance and system reliability.
• SaaS Security Engineering: Developing and scaling the company’s flagship security product, focusing on Authorization & Authentication logic for complex enterprise environments.
• Modern Tech Stack: Working extensively with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases including ElasticSearch and MongoDB.
• Cloud-Native Architecture: Designing and deploying Microservices within Docker and Kubernetes across multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
• High-Scale Multi-Tenancy: Implementing complex multi-tenant logic and data isolation at scale, integrated into a continuous CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborative R&D: Joining a specialized team of approximately 85 professionals, reporting directly to a Team Lead in a research-driven environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development – Mandatory.
• Cloud-Native Expertise: Proven experience building applications in Cloud environments (AWS or GCP) – Mandatory.
• Linux Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience developing within Linux environments – Mandatory.
• Systems Languages: Practical experience or strong willingness to work extensively with Go – Mandatory.
• Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of Microservices, distributed systems, and scalable SaaS design.
• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch).
