Role Overview
We are looking to hire a highly connected and deal-oriented investment professional from a venture capital fund, accelerator, or innovation hub. This person will be responsible for sourcing high-quality startup deal flow, building strong relationships in the Israeli tech ecosystem, and identifying early-stage investment opportunities aligned with our strategy.
The ideal candidate is someone who already has relationships with founders, angels, VCs, incubators, tech hubs, universities, and accelerators, and knows how to bring high-quality startups to the table.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing & Screening
Proactively identify and source early-stage startups in high-growth sectors.
Maintain a constant pipeline of relevant deals and investment opportunities.
Evaluate opportunities at a high level before passing to the investment team.
Ecosystem Partnerships & Networking
Build and maintain relationships with founders, VCs, angel investors, accelerators, university innovation centers, and tech communities.
Attend and represent the company at startup events, demo days, pitch nights, conferences, and invite-only investor gatherings.
Develop partnerships that position us as a top-tier funding partner in the ecosystem.
Market Intelligence & Trends
Stay on top of emerging technologies, investment trends, and notable funding movements.
Provide weekly insights and reports on deal flows, founder introductions, and market developments.
Required Experience & Qualifications
3–7 years of experience in a venture capital fund, CVC fund, accelerator, or tech investment role.
Proven track record of sourcing high-quality startups and initiating investments or partnerships.
Strong network within the Israeli startup ecosystem — founders, investors, incubators, advisors, innovation centers.
Fluent in Hebrew and English.
Background in business, finance, tech, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Comes from a competing VC/CVC/accelerator and is already embedded in the ecosystem.
Highly proactive, charismatic, and relationship-driven personality.
Strong communicator and confident in meetings with founders and investors.
Understands startup financials, business models, early-stage metrics, and due diligence basics.
Passionate about technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Israel.
