Rust Software Engineer

The company is located in Central Israel (prime high-tech hub with direct train access) and operates a highly flexible hybrid model with three days remote.

Role Overview:

• Core Protocol Development: Building and implementing mission-critical components of the FHE-native protocol using Go and Rust, covering Backend, Mid, and Low-level engineering.
• Infrastructure Engineering: Developing sophisticated blockchain infrastructure, including coprocessors, rollups, and bridges, while integrating encryption mechanisms directly into execution engines.
• Distributed Systems Architecture: Designing and deploying high-performance distributed systems, focusing on extreme scalability and low-latency production environments.
• Research-to-Code Translation: Partnering directly with world-class cryptography researchers to translate theoretical models into secure, efficient, and production-ready code.
• End-to-End Ownership: Taking a lead role in a lean engineering team, reporting to the Team Lead, and influencing long-term architectural decisions for the core protocol.
• Developer Experience: Building tools and documentation to empower external developers to build on top of the company’s privacy-preserving infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Academic/Military Foundation: B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or background in an elite military technological unit – Mandatory.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Backend Development – Mandatory.
• Modern Systems Languages: Hands-on experience with Go or Rust – Mandatory.
• Technical Fundamentals: Deep understanding of Data Structures, Concurrency, and Networking protocols – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in System Architecture and designing high-scale distributed applications.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, research-heavy startup environment.
