AI Engineer

An innovative Israeli Digital Health startup is transforming the Mental Health landscape by developing an AI-driven therapeutic platform.

Founded by elite veterans of unit 81, the company creates a unique therapeutic experience where AI agents facilitate emotional support and connection between individuals with shared experiences.

Currently a lean team of 8 professionals in a phase of significant early-growth, the company is bridging the gap between clinical psychology and state-of-the-art Generative AI.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location with direct access to major train and light rail hubs) and operates from their central R&D office.

Role Overview:

• Founding Team Member: Joining as a core engineer with significant influence on building a revolutionary product from the ground up, reporting directly to the founders.
• AI Agent Orchestration: Architecting and implementing complex AI workflows using LLMs, LangChain, and LangGraph to drive psychological AI agents.
• Full-Cycle Engineering: Taking ownership of AI solutions from initial characterization and research through to high-scale Production deployment.
• Data & Services: Developing robust backend infrastructures and services in Python, including the design of data pipelines and seamless API integrations.
• Product Integration: Embedding sophisticated AI models into a functional SaaS product, ensuring reliability, empathy-driven logic, and high performance.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Managing and deploying AI-centric services within AWS environments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/Machine Learning roles– Mandatory.
• Deep proficiency in Python development – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with LLMs and Generative AI technologies – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in AI Agent development and orchestration – Mandatory.
• Startup/SaaS Background: Proven track record in fast-paced startup environments – Mandatory.
• Cloud Expertise: Practical experience working with AWS – Mandatory.
