Back End Engineer

A leading global Cybersecurity company is expanding its core engineering team to drive the next generation of its Network Security platform. The company specializes in high-performance solutions that process massive traffic volumes for major enterprises worldwide.

With a large-scale R&D center in Israel, the organization combines the stability of an established market leader with a rapid-growth mindset, tackling some of the most complex challenges in real-time data processing and network protection.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location with direct train access) and operates a hybrid work model with three days in-office.

Role Overview:

• Core Product Engineering: Developing the fundamental "engine" of the security platform, focusing on low-level C development within a Linux environment.
• High-Concurrency Systems: Designing and optimizing Multithreaded applications to handle extreme scales of data and high-velocity network traffic.
• Network Security Innovation: Implementing and refining complex Internet Communication Protocols to detect and mitigate advanced cyber threats.
• Architecture & Performance: Contributing to the system's core architecture, ensuring low latency and high reliability across distributed environments.
• Collaborative R&D: Joining an established, high-caliber team and reporting to a Team Lead to execute mission-critical technical roadmaps.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related technical field – Mandatory.
• 4+ years of professional experience in C/C++ development – Mandatory.
• Deep proficiency in Linux/Unix environments (Windows experience is also relevant) – Mandatory.
• Strong Networking Foundation: Extensive experience with Internet communication protocols – Mandatory.
• Multithreading Expertise: Proven track record in developing high-concurrency, performance-critical systems.
• Experience in developing core-level software for high-traffic environments.
