We are looking for a experienced and highly capable Senior Payroll Manager to lead and oversee our payroll department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional who combines technical expertise, leadership capabilities, precision, and strong client-facing skills, and is looking to take on a high-responsibility role within a respected and professional environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our offices in Netanya.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department
• Take full ownership of end-to-end payroll processes, from data collection to payroll processing and reporting
• Lead, mentor, and professionally support a team of payroll accountants
• Conduct ongoing payroll controls to ensure maximum accuracy, compliance, and quality
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and employees on payroll-related matters
• Prepare and manage ongoing reports to tax authorities, National Insurance, and other relevant entities
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and optimize payroll processes and internal workflows

Requirements

• Certified Payroll Accountant qualification – mandatory
• Several years of proven experience in payroll accounting – mandatory
• Previous team management experience – a significant advantage / required depending on profile
• Full proficiency in Shiklulit payroll system – mandatory
• Familiarity with Michpal payroll system – an advantage
• Strong leadership, guidance, and team management capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure
• High level of accuracy, responsibility, and professionalism
