Infrastructure / Platform Engineer (High-Scale Distributed Systems)

A fast-growing, cutting-edge startup is looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to join a core engineering team and take ownership of large-scale, distributed environments.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a complex cloud-native product operating across multi-cloud and highly distributed architectures, solving deep infrastructure and scalability challenges that go far beyond standard SaaS systems.

What You’ll Do

• Own and scale infrastructure – Design, build, and optimize a platform deployed across hundreds of distributed environments
• Solve complex scalability challenges – Work with multi-cluster Kubernetes setups and high-ingestion distributed systems
• Build data pipelines at scale – Handle large volumes of data with a focus on performance, reliability, and consistency
• Drive automation – Lead Infrastructure as Code efforts and improve CI/CD and provisioning processes
• Ensure system reliability – Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms in production environments
• Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with backend engineers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Influence architecture – Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve scalability and efficiency
• Optimize deployments – Work extensively with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform

What We’re Looking For

• 6-10 years of experience in Infrastructure / Platform / DevOps / SRE roles – with strong coding skills
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes – must
• Proven experience working in cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Strong experience with Terraform, Helm, and modern infrastructure tooling
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and containerized environments
• Experience with coding (Go, Python, or similar) for automation and tooling
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to take ownership of complex systems

Nice to have:

• Experience with observability stacks (e.g., high-scale monitoring, logging, tracing systems)
