Senior Hardware Engineer - Digital Beamforming & Power (Board Design)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Hardware Engineer to join an advanced, fast-growing deep-tech startup.

This is a hands-on, system-level role focused on the design of high-performance boards combining Digital Beamforming, High-Speed Digital Design, and Power Electronics, in challenging environments with strict performance and EMC requirements.

You will play a key role in shaping system architecture and delivering robust hardware solutions from concept to mass production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end board design (Board Design) – from architecture definition to production

• Design high-speed digital systems (including FPGA-based designs and complex interfaces)

• Develop and integrate Digital Beamforming architectures (antenna control in the digital domain)

• Design power supply circuits (AC/DC, DC/DC), including control, filtering, and protection

• Perform bring-up, debugging, and validation of complex boards

• Work with SI/PI and thermal considerations in high-performance systems

• Collaborate closely with RF, antenna, FPGA, algorithms, and embedded teams

• Participate in component selection, design reviews, and system integration

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering - Must

• 10–15+ years of hands-on experience in hardware development

• Proven experience in Board Design of complex electronic systems

• Strong experience with FPGA-based systems and high-speed digital interfaces

• Significant experience in Digital Beamforming – Must

(e.g., radar systems, automotive radar, communication systems)

• Solid understanding of antenna systems and RF-related considerations

• Experience with power supply design (AC/DC, DC/DC)

• Strong knowledge of Signal Integrity (SI) and system-level design considerations

• Experience with bring-up, lab debugging, and validation

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with MATLAB – required for system modeling and analysis

• Experience with EMC-compliant design and simulations (SI/PI)
