Senior UX Designer

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring for a large government office in Jerusalem.

This role includes defining and designing the user experience for a new payments system and other complex systems. The position requires strong business analysis skills, deep UX expertise, creative visual problem-solving, and close collaboration with project teams and internal clients.

Responsibilities include defining UI strategy and roadmap, conducting and analyzing user research and surveys, contributing to product decisions, supporting UX throughout development stages, and planning and implementing usability testing processes, including feedback collection through focus groups and surveys.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven experience in specification and design of complex budget systems with multiple modules for different users
• Experience with Figma
• Knowledge of responsive UX/UI design
• Proven experience working with project managers, systems analysts, and developers
• Experience with HTML and CSS in a .NET / Angular environment – advantage
• Familiarity with relevant AI tools
• Familiarity with accessibility in government websites
• Experience in a government office or in a cross-functional team in a large organization – advantage
