Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Technologist, based in the Emek Izrael Regional Council. The Food Technologist will be responsible for conducting sensory evaluations, applying food technology principles, managing laboratory processes, ensuring quality control, and contributing to research and development activities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the candidate will play a pivotal role in creating innovative and high-quality food products.

Qualifications

* Experience in Sensory Evaluation and a strong understanding of taste, texture, and other sensory properties of food products

* Expertise in Food Technology, including knowledge of production processes, food safety standards, and product formulation

* Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including experiment design, sample preparation, and data analysis

* Proven abilities in Quality Control to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations

* Experience in Research and Development (R&D) with a focus on food product innovation and problem-solving

* A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to generate and champion groundbreaking ideas from concept to execution

* Strong communication and collaborative skills for cross-departmental teamwork

* A degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field

* Familiarity with regulatory standards in the food industry is preferred
