The Rate – €120 per hour Israel based, paid in Euro

This role sits within a growing data and AI function developing next generation intelligent applications.

About the Role

This position is for an experienced Senior Machine Learning Scientist joining a specialist GenAI Applications team. You will design, build and evaluate end to end generative AI and agentic systems that support complex product use cases. The role combines deep technical leadership with close collaboration across engineering, product and wider business teams.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and implement scalable GenAI and multimodal machine learning solutions
• Develop, fine tune and evaluate LLM based models, RAG pipelines and agentic architectures
• Write clean, reusable and production ready Python code within established frameworks
• Conduct data analysis, feature exploration and create detailed performance metrics
• Work with machine learning engineers to ensure model latency, throughput and deployment readiness
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists and developers to shape use cases from concept to delivery
• Diagnose and improve existing GenAI applications, incorporating new tools, memory systems and agent behaviours
• Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to solution design reviews

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong expertise in Python and applied GenAI development
• Proven experience in LLM fine tuning, agentic workflows, RAG and evaluation methods
• Background in NLP, computer vision or multimodal machine learning
• Experience working with large datasets, experimentation, statistics and optimisation
• Ability to read Java code at a conceptual level
• Familiarity with Kafka, Hadoop, Spark or similar data technologies
• Experience engaging with stakeholders and guiding technical discussions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead design processes

The ideal candidate is an experienced senior ML scientist with a proven track record delivering GenAI or applied machine learning solutions into production. They will have several years working with LLMs, Python, data pipelines and complex AI use cases, combining hands on technical excellence with the ability to design systems, diagnose problems and work effectively with engineers and product teams. Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
