Full Stack Team Lead - AI-Powered Content & Monetization Platform

About The Position

At Pixellot, we are revolutionizing sports production with AI-powered systems that automatically capture, process, and stream live sports content to millions of users worldwide -from parents watching their kids’ games to coaches analyzing performance.

We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Team Lead for our AI-Powered Content & Monetization Platform - someone with an AI-first mindset who enjoys building both scalable backend systems and high-quality user-facing experiences across the full stack, while leveraging modern GenAI tools to accelerate development and improve engineering workflows.

You’ll lead by doing - building, prototyping, prompt-engineering, and guiding the team in adopting agentic development practices while maintaining architectural clarity across our Streaming & Engagement Platforms.

As part of your role, you will:

• Lead a full-stack engineering team (Web, Mobile, Streaming & Engagement Platforms), owning execution and delivery end-to-end.
• Stay deeply hands-on - architecting, coding, reviewing, and building production-ready features.
• Drive agentic development practices across the full SDLC.
• Build rapid functional prototypes – turning product ideas or Figma designs into working cross-platform solutions.
• Integrate LLMs into development workflows - including test generation, documentation, CI/CD automation, and internal tooling.
• Architect scalable solutions across Web, Mobile (React Native / Flutter), and Streaming & Engagement environments (Smart TVs / CTV).
• Ensure high-quality user experiences while maintaining scalable, reliable backend systems across consumer-facing platforms.
• Work closely with Product and Design to streamline design-to-code cycles using modern tooling.
• Mentor engineers on modern full-stack architecture and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Balance speed with technical depth - enabling fast iteration without sacrificing scalability.

You should bring with you:

• +5 years of engineering experience, including 2+ years leading an engineering team.
• Strong full-stack background with hands-on experience across both backend systems and modern frontend frameworks.
• Proven experience shipping consumer-facing products across Web and/or Mobile.
• Deep experience building production systems using modern frontend frameworks (React / Vue / similar) and backend services (Node.js / microservices / cloud-based architectures).
• Comfortable operating across the full stack (roughly 50/50 frontend and backend) and making architectural decisions across both layers.
• Experience working with AWS and production-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools for development (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, v0, Replit Agent, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to prototype quickly and improve development velocity using AI-assisted workflows.
• Understanding of cross-platform architecture across Web, Mobile, and Streaming & Engagement Platforms.
• Strong product intuition and ability to translate user needs into high-quality technical execution.
• A hands-on leadership style - comfortable reviewing code, writing code, and leading by example.
• Experience building large-scale consumer platforms (B2C or B2B2C) is highly valued.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience building or maintaining Streaming / CTV / Smart TV applications (Tizen, WebOS, Roku, etc.).
• Experience automating parts of the SDLC using GenAI (test generation, documentation, CI/CD automation).
• Experience with AI agent workflows, RAG pipelines, or vector databases.
• Background in rapid zero-to-one product development or startup environments.
• Experience leading hybrid or offshore teams.
• Passion for sports or experience in sports media / video platforms.
