Security Systems Engineer

The Information Security Infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining a secure, hardened, and compliant technological ecosystem across servers and workstations.

This is a hands-on role combining Vulnerability Management, infrastructure hardening, and security compliance within a complex and highly regulated environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and operate the organization’s Vulnerability Management processes across servers and endpoints

• Be operationally responsible for all aspects of Vulnerability Management, including working with systems and defined organizational processes

• Perform hands-on work on servers and endpoints in cases where security vulnerabilities are identified and require validation

• Monitor and control security hardening across servers and workstations in accordance with organizational policies

• Monitor and address gaps related to Information Security and Infrastructure Agents

• Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive organizational view of security exposures, hardening status, and deployed Agents

• Work closely with various infrastructure teams and stakeholders across the organization

• Manage and maintain the inventory of approved applications within the organization

Qualifications:

• 1 year+ of experience in Information Security Implementation OR 2+ years of experience in System Administration-Must

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with operating systems and infrastructure - Active Directory, Windows, Linux -Must

• Good understanding of vulnerability management concepts

• Ability to perform risk assessment and risk management

• Scripting or coding experience in PowerShell, Python, SPL, or MSSQL -Advantage
