A leading technology company in the gaming industry is looking for a Backend Team Lead to join the development of an innovative platform.

This role combines technical leadership and hands-on development. You will be responsible for leading the backend team, planning sprints, contributing to development, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with product and architecture teams.

You will act as the bridge between strategic product goals and engineering execution, ensuring high quality, fast delivery, and continuous improvement.

🔧 Key Requirements

Technical Experience:

• 7+ years of professional backend development experience
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Strong experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel (or Java + Spring Boot)
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID, KISS, and DRY principles
• Familiarity with modern AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, AI agents, MCP) – a strong advantage
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Leadership & Management:

• 3+ years of experience as a Team Lead or engineering manager
• Proven experience managing complex systems and multiple integrations
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience (leading sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong skills in estimation, risk management, and identifying blockers early
