Project Engineer

Phibro’s flagship manufacturing site in Beit Shemesh is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end engineering project management, including schedules, budgets, and resources (contractors, consultants, planners, etc.)
• Full responsibility for project engineering activities: requirements definition, design, engineering coordination, change control initiation through closure
• Preparation of engineering documentation, including specifications, URS, DQ, protocols, and additional engineering documents in Hebrew and English
• Collection and management of technical data and literature, including drawings
• Supervision of engineering works on site
• Review, testing, and approval of equipment and systems according to FAT/SAT protocols
• Support and accompaniment of IQ/OQ/PQ validations; execution when required
• Delivery of training for new or upgraded equipment and systems
• Initiation and/or execution of Change Controls, CAPAs, investigations, equipment/system failure analysis, and risk assessments
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, downtime reduction, performance, and maintenance cost optimization
• Providing technical support and consultancy as required
• Supplier management, including negotiations
• Management, analysis, and evaluation of quotations
• Support of the Maintenance Department in spare parts definition and minimum / maximum inventory levels

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer – strong preference, or Engineer in Electrical / Chemical / Civil / Biotechnology disciplines
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within an engineering company or industrial manufacturing environment
• – Pharmaceutical / process industry experience is highly preferred
• Proven experience in pharma-related engineering projects – significant advantage
• Experience working with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• High-level English – excellent verbal and written communication skills
