Freelance Privacy / Data Protection Specialis

For consulting activities in the fields of privacy protection and information security, UP Security is seeking a freelance professional to assist with compliance projects and support organizations in regulatory and technological matters.

The role includes ongoing support in privacy projects, preparation of compliance documentation, review of information systems from a privacy perspective, and guidance of organizational processes in this domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in projects related to privacy and data protection compliance
• Prepare and draft privacy and compliance documentation, including:
• Privacy policies
• Information security policies and procedures
• Data mapping and data flow documentation
• Vendor assessments
• Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA / DPIA)
• Assist in reviewing information systems and technological services from a privacy standpoint
• Support analysis of regulatory requirements and their implementation within organizations
• Work regularly in English מול documents, systems, and international vendors

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in privacy, information security, or GRC
• Licensed attorney
• Native-level English – חובה (excellent writing and reading skills)
• Familiarity with Israeli privacy laws and/or international regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail
• Experience working with legal and regulatory documents

Advantages:

• Graduate of a Privacy Officer certification course
• Experience working with technology companies or SaaS systems
• Familiarity with GRC or information security domains
• Experience drafting privacy and compliance documents

Work Structure:
