Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Algorithm Developer with deep expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and real-time AI applications. The ideal candidate will drive the development of advanced algorithms for image and video processing, with a focus on biological and food-tech applications.

Key Responsibilities

·    Design and implement cutting-edge algorithms for image/video processing, including object detection, classification, and tracking

·    Develop and optimize deep learning models for real-time applications

·    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, biology) to integrate AI solutions into our products

·    Optimize algorithms for performance and efficiency in resource-constrained environments

·    Stay current with the latest research and technologies in AI, computer vision, and deep learning 

·    Participate in the full product development life-cycle

Required QualificationsEducation

·    MSc degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field

Technical Skills

·    Strong mathematical foundation and understanding of ML/DL mathematical and statistical principles

·    Expert-level scientific Python programming skills, including proficiency with:

·    PyTorch

·    OpenCV

·    scikit-learn

·    Other relevant ML/data processing libraries

Experience

·    5+ years of proven experience in image/video processing, including object detection/classification and tracking

·    5+ years of proven experience with AI and machine learning, specifically for image/video/time-series processing

·    Demonstrated expertise with CNNs, recurrent networks and transformers

·    2+ years of experience with DL optimization methods for real-time applications (TensorRT, DeepStream, models compression)

Preferred Qualifications

·    Experience in real-time parallel programming on GPU/CPU (CUDA, C++, etc.)

·    Experience integrating machine learning with software systems

·    Experience integrating ML solutions with hardware devices (cameras, frame-grabbers, pulse generators)

·    Working and collaborating with LLMs and agents

·    Knowledge of microscopy imaging: bright-field, phase-contrast, fluorescence.

·    Background or experience in biological sciences or medical imaging
