System Engineer

Role:

Lead the engineering definition and architecture of the company’s systems, bridging between different development domains and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and performance goals.

This role requires a broad system-level perspective alongside hands-on engineering involvement. It is suited for an experienced candidate who can work across disciplines and lead complex engineering processes in a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements and architecture for the company’s systems
• Lead engineering decisions and perform trade-offs between different disciplines
• Hands-on engineering involvement with development teams and support implementation of engineering solutions
• Coordinate and integrate between electronics, software, mechanics, and algorithm teams
• Technical management of system subcontractors
• Write requirements and architecture documents
• Write test and validation plans
• Support integration processes and system testing
• Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks
• Solve complex system issues throughout the product lifecycle

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in system engineering for complex systems – חובה (mandatory)
• Practical engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering – חובה (mandatory)
• Over 5 years of experience in designing and editing electronic boards – significant advantage
• Experience working with multidisciplinary systems including electronics, software, mechanics, and optics – significant advantage
• Experience in defense projects / systems for harsh environmental conditions – significant advantage
• Ability to define and write system requirements and architecture
• Experience with integration processes and system testing
• Ability to work in a multi-interface environment
• Very high level of English proficiency
