Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of modern data solutions on Snowflake, driving high-impact initiatives that support critical business processes and data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development and implementation of data solutions in a Snowflake environment, including architecture design and performance optimization
• Manage and plan the team’s development roadmap using Agile methodologies
• Ensure efficient use of system resources and manage budget management (FinOps)
• Lead the implementation of new platform features, with a strong focus on AI capabilities aligned with business needs
• Take ownership of security and compliance aspects, including RBAC, PII data access policies, and environment management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Cloud, DBA, and Networking teams

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake - Must
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Kafka - Must
• Experience with Spark and/or Java
• Proven experience in performance tuning in large-scale data environments
• Experience implementing complex authorization mechanisms and access control models
• Experience managing development processes using Agile methodologies
