We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead airborne mechanical development projects within our Missile & Space Systems division
The Position includes:
- Engineering responsibility for airborne mechanical design
- Lead the development of structures, mechanisms, and manufacturing processes from requirements definition through final product delivery
- Lead complex mechanical development testing
- Work with internal suppliers and external subcontractors
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with engineering and operations teams
- Make engineering decisions regarding design alternatives
- Manage engineering requirements and lead interfaces with other professional disciplines
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Systems Engineering – Advantage
- At least 7 years of experience in mechanical design – Mandatory
- Experience in airborne structural design and complex mechanisms – Advantage
- Experience managing direct reports – Mandatory
- Familiarity with development processes and systems engineering practices – Advantage
