We are looking for an experienced Opto-Mechanical Designer to join our R&D team. You will be part of the design and development of advanced opto-mechanical systems for medical devices. This role sits at the heart of our technological leadership of intraoral scanning, where innovation, precision engineering, and real-world clinical impact come together to define the future of digital dentistry. With a strong background in mechanical engineering and opto-mechanical design, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge devices that positively impact dental healthcare worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop and integrate opto-mechanical systems for medical dental devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multidisciplinary systems.
• Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks is advantage) to create detailed designs, prototypes, and engineering drawings.
• Perform thermal and structural simulations
• Design and execute tests across multiple disciplines and methodologies.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations for opto-mechanical systems.
  
  

• B.Sc. degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 8+ years of proven experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands on approach for fast prototyping, experimenting and proof of concept.
• Knowledge of opto-mechanical design principles.
• Experience in electronic packaging and thermal design.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing, processing and bonding techniques.
• Experience in multidisciplinary product design.
• Experience in mechanical and thermal simulations.
• High proficiency with complex drawings and GD&T
• Possesses ability and self-confidence in public speaking, with clear and focused delivery of technical topics.
• Experience in project leading including budget & timeline planning – Advantage.
• Fluent in PC operation skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
