About the Role:
As the APAC EMEA Controller at Claroty, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations of the region, and contributing to the organization's overall financial health. This position offers excellent professional growth and development opportunities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
You will lead and mentor the Regional Assistant Controller, partnering to achieve the region’s financial and operational objectives,
while supporting strategic initiatives set by the Director of Finance, to whom you will report.
Responsibilities:
As a Controller, your impact will be:
Financial Reporting:
Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Ownership on the region revenues recognition under US GAAP ASC 606.
Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Assisted with analysis and forecasts of the company results and provided insights and recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
Tax
Own end-to-end responsibility for all tax matters across the APAC and EMEA entities, including corporate tax reporting,
direct taxes, tax prepayments, employee-related taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Partner with Mazars teams globally to oversee the timely preparation, review, and submission of all tax filings while ensuring compliance
with local statutory and tax requirements across all jurisdictions.
Payroll:
Supervise the payroll team and maintain accurate payroll records.
Oversee and manage payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations
General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Ensure accuracy in coding and classification of financial transactions.
Compliance and Regulation:
Stay current on relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends.
Assist in the preparation of audits, working closely with external auditors.
Assisted in the preparation of income tax filing for the local entities.
Support with tax Ed-Hoc compliances.
Process Improvement:
Collaborate closely with Mazars teams across the globe to enhance and modernize the existing financial infrastructure,
while leveraging AI-driven solutions to upgrade and optimize the region's reporting processes and reporting infrastructure.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.
Participate in the implementation of new financial systems or tools.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making.
Work closely with the Corporate controller and other finance team members to achieve departmental goals
Ad Hoc Analysis:
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as management requests.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA certified).
- 4+ years of finance/accounting experience.
- Graduated from one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (ASC 606), and financial reporting (US-GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the SaaS or high-tech industry.
- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP.
- AI efficiency driven.
