Director of Hardware Platform

One of our clients, a fast-growing deep-tech company specializing in advanced hardware and software platforms for next-generation computing systems, is looking to hire a Director of HW Platform.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head a multi-disciplinary engineering team responsible for delivering fully integrated hardware platforms. This role involves full ownership of the platform lifecycle, from architecture definition and roadmap planning through execution, system integration, and production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization (15–20 engineers, including team leads)

• Own end-to-end delivery of complete hardware platforms at the system level

• Define and drive hardware architecture and system integration

• Ensure robust integration across high-speed boards, RF components, FPGA, and system interfaces

• Drive execution from design through bring-up, validation, and production

• Collaborate closely with system architects, product management, and operations teams

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in hardware and system development

• Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (15+ engineers)

• Demonstrated success delivering complete hardware systems to production

• Strong expertise in high-speed board design, PCB, and signal/power integrity (SI/PI)

• Experience in system-level architecture and hardware integration

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Advantages:

• Experience with RF or communication systems

• Experience with FPGA (hands-on or leadership)

• Background in semiconductor or other deep-tech industries
