Senior Embedded Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware in C for embedded systems
• Work on low-level software including drivers, BSP, and hardware interfaces
• Develop real-time, high-reliability software for complex defense systems
• Interface directly with hardware components (processors, sensors, communication interfaces)
• Participate in system bring-up, debugging, and integration processes
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into efficient firmware solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in both lab and field environments
• Collaborate with hardware, system, and integration teams throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Software Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in firmware development using C
• Strong experience with embedded systems and real-time environments
• Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up and debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
• Experience with low-level development (drivers, interrupts, memory management)
• Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
• Experience working with RTOS or bare-metal systems
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Advantages:

• Experience with Embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems (VxWorks, FreeRTOS)
• Familiarity with ARM-based processors and SoCs
• Experience with bootloaders and board bring-up processes
