Role Description

We are seeking a First Data Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role (Israel-based, with partial remote flexibility).

This is an early, high-ownership role shaping the core data foundation of the company.

You will design and build the core data pipelines powering our Decision Intelligence engine.

The role is highly hands-on and focused on turning messy real-world data into reliable production systems. You will work closely with the founder to ingest data, build robust flows, structure time-series datasets, and support the development and deployment of forecasting logic that drives real business decisions.

Initial tech direction: Python, SQL, pandas, and cloud-native data infrastructure (exact architecture will be shaped together).

Your work will directly influence real inventory and demand decisions at enterprise scale.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building production data pipelines
• Proven ability to design and implement robust ETL processes on messy real-world data
• High proficiency in Python and SQL (pandas required)
• Experience with AI/ML workflows and familiarity with agentic AI systems
• Experience working with time-series or forecasting data - big advantage
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/GCP/AWS) and containerized workflows - advantage
• Strong system thinking and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
