System Engineer

A global leader in wireless communication systems specializes in developing high-end audio and connectivity solutions for the outdoor and action sports industries. Their innovative products integrated into helmets for motorcycling, skiing, and more set the world standard for performance in challenging environments.

With an R&D center of approximately 200 professionals, the company combines cutting-edge RF, audio engineering, and embedded software to deliver seamless communication experiences.

The company is located in the Sharon Area (prime high-tech hub) and operates a hybrid work model with up to two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• End-to-End System Architecture: Defining and maintaining the full technical architecture for complex products, encompassing Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Mobile, and Backend components.
• Requirement Engineering: Translating high-level product demands into detailed system and hardware specifications, defining critical interfaces between HW, Firmware, RF, and Mobile SW.
• Performance Optimization: Ensuring superior system-level results in Connectivity (Bluetooth/Mesh), Audio Quality, Robustness, and Power Consumption.
• Technical Leadership: Leading Proof of Concepts (POCs), compliance processes, and cross-functional design reviews with HW, RF, and Software engineers.
• Risk Management: Identifying technical gaps, managing system-level risks, and leading complex System Integration phases for multidisciplinary products.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science – Mandatory.
• 7+ years of experience in System Engineering for complex Embedded products – Mandatory.
• Deep expertise in Wireless Systems, specifically Bluetooth, RF, and Audio technologies – Mandatory.
• Strong Multidisciplinary Integration background: Proven experience bridging HW, Mechanical, and SW domains – Mandatory.
• Robust understanding of Embedded Firmware and hardware design principles.
• Proven track record in defining system requirements and managing technical validation/troubleshooting for high-end consumer electronics.
• Fluent English (verbal and written) – Mandatory.
