About this role:

As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer at Aidoc, you will serve as the primary technical authority for our core technology stack. This is a high-impact role where you will not only solve complex challenges but also architect and drive the long-term roadmap for our global IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying emerging technologies, spearheading large-scale deployments, and ensuring our environment remains scalable, secure, and cutting-edge. You will be a key pillar of the IT team, reporting directly to the Director of IT, and playing a critical role in shaping how Aidoc scales its operations.

Responsibilities:

• Architect & Scale: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of our global IT infrastructure, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions for complex organizational challenges.
• Tech Roadmap: Proactively research and assess emerging technologies to formulate future infrastructure roadmaps aligned with our rapid business growth.
• End-to-End Project Ownership: Plan and execute mission-critical IT projects—from initial mapping and vendor selection to full-scale rollout and infrastructure upgrades.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and integrate modern DevOps methodologies into daily IT operations.
• Security by Design: Embed advanced security principles (Zero Trust, IAM, encryption standards) into all infrastructure designs to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with R&D, Security, and Ops teams to coordinate the delivery of multidisciplinary IT initiatives and foster a collaborative technical environment.
• Technical Mentorship: Act as a senior technical authority, providing oversight, coaching, and training to the technical support staff on new systems and complex troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Extensive Hands-on Experience: At least 8 years in senior IT infrastructure roles, with a proven track record of rolling out complex, multidisciplinary solutions in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Advanced Networking & Security: Deep expertise in managing enterprise-grade networking (Firewalls, L2/L3 Switching, Load Balancers) and security stacks (EDR/DLP, NAC, Zero Trust frameworks).
• Cloud & Virtualization Expert: Strong proficiency with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and SaaS production environments across major public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Storage Architecture: Practical experience managing and optimizing storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS) for high-performance workloads.
• Automation Mindset: Experience with scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell) and a strong familiarity with DevOps-driven environments and monitoring tools.
• Project Leadership: Ability to take full ownership of project lifecycles while managing multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Superior communication skills in English and Hebrew, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business objectives.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
