Information System Manager

A leading company in the medical device industry, operating for over 50 years and providing solutions to medical institutions across Israel, is seeking an Information Systems Lead to establish and lead the domain within the organization. The company is characterized by a professional, customer-oriented environment and is currently in a phase of growth and development.

The Information Systems Lead is responsible for driving digital transformation and creating business value through the implementation and management of information systems, BI and AI solutions, and advanced infrastructures.

This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, and includes leading innovation, improving processes, and promoting data-driven decision-making — while ensuring system availability, information security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives
• Analyze business needs and lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of core systems (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.)
• Map existing systems, identify gaps, and drive process improvements and efficiency
• Lead cross-organizational projects and end-to-end system implementations
• Work closely with all departments to understand and translate business needs into solutions
• Manage and lead external vendors, including working with multiple stakeholders in parallel
• Oversee IT infrastructure, communication systems, and information security
• Provide hands-on support and ongoing assistance to users
• Develop and present dashboards and data-driven insights to management
• Monitor technological trends and innovations and implement relevant solutions

Requirements

Must-Have:

• At least 5 years of experience in leading Information Systems roles within organizations
• Proven experience in leading projects and implementing cross-organizational systems
• Experience managing Priority ERP, including implementation of integrated systems
• Experience managing vendors in the Information Systems domain
• Experience working with senior management, including presenting plans, budgets, and risks
• Ability to combine hands-on work with strategic and systemic thinking
• Strong ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technological solutions

Significant Advantage:

• Experience with BI systems and data visualization (dashboards, reports)
• Familiarity with logistics systems / WMS
• Exposure to AI-based tools or advanced analytics
• Experience in distribution, logistics, or regulated environments
