Data Scientist

We’re hiring a Data Scientist to join our DATA team!

The role focuses on understanding behavior in data and turning it into meaningful signals that improve system intelligence. This is primarily done through deep analysis and strong feature engineering, with models selected and applied where they add real value.

You will define how problems should be framed, how data should be represented, and what signals are worth learning from.

What You’ll Do

• Translate business questions into well-defined analytical problems 
• Analyze behavior in data and identify patterns, anomalies, and signals 
• Design and build high-quality features for training and evaluation 
• Validate data assumptions and determine whether problems are solvable 
• Select and apply appropriate ML methods based on the problem and data 
• Focus on specific problem areas and develop targeted solutions 
• Communicate findings and limitations clearly 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical skills and ability to reason about data, not just models 
• Experience working with real-world datasets and extracting meaningful signals 
• Proven ability to design effective features and improve model inputs 
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and modern ML approaches, including their trade-offs, limitations, and appropriate use cases 
• Strong Python and familiarity with common data tools 
• Ability to take ambiguous problems and structure them into clear approaches 
• Clear communication, including explaining limitations and uncertainty 

Nice to have:

• Experience with SQL and large-scale data systems 
• Familiarity with applied ML frameworks 
• Experience with experimentation or causal inference
