Role Overview

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager to own all financial operations across both our Israeli entity (PayPlus Ltd.) and our European entity (Wittix UAB). This is a senior, standalone role — you will be the primary financial professional in the company, working closely with the CTO and executive leadership.

You will own the full financial stack: bookkeeping, reporting, tax compliance, cash flow, regulatory filings, and financial modeling — across two jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Finance & Accounting

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Manage bank accounts, authorize payments, and oversee cash positioning
• Monitor receivables and payables; lead collections and vendor payment processes
• Build and maintain cash flow forecasts and rolling financial projections

Tax & Regulatory Compliance — Israel

• Prepare and file VAT returns (עוסק מורשה / חברה) on time
• Collaborate with external auditor for year-end close and annual financial statements
• Manage payroll tax filings (Form 102), withholding tax, and advance tax payments
• Ensure full compliance with Israeli Tax Authority requirements and deadlines

European Operations — Wittix UAB (Lithuania)

• Support accounting and regulatory requirements of the Lithuanian EMI entity
• Coordinate with external auditor in Lithuania; ensure Bank of Lithuania compliance
• Manage foreign currency flows, intercompany transfers, and transfer pricing
• Prepare periodic regulatory reports per EMI license requirements

Business & Strategic Finance

• Build financial models for fundraising, pricing decisions, and business planning
• Analyze profitability of customer segments, products, and partnerships
• Collaborate with the engineering team on billing system integrations and revenue reconciliation
• Prepare financial materials for banks, investors, and institutional counterparties

Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a finance / accounting role at a tech or fintech company
• Full professional fluency in Hebrew and English (written and verbal)
• Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting systems (Priority, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
• Deep familiarity with Israeli tax law, VAT, and Tax Authority reporting obligations
• High degree of autonomy — able to manage workload, prioritize, and deliver independently

Strong Advantage

• Experience at a payment company, fintech, or company with international operations
• Familiarity with European financial regulation (EMI licensing, PSD2, AML/KYC)
• Experience with FX, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing
• CPA license or actively pursuing certification
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets; experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
• Basic understanding of payment products: acquiring, subscriptions, digital invoicing
