Job Brief

The Warehouse and Production Team Lead is responsible for leading and optimizing day-to-day manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring all activities are executed in alignment with production plans, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

This role involves direct supervision of production operators, real-time oversight of manufacturing floor activities, and proactive resolution of operational issues. The Team Lead works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency, maintain compliance, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality medical electronic devices.

Responsibilities and Authorities

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production operators working on the manufacturing line.
• Supervise production activities and ensure execution according to the approved production plan.
• Assign tasks and prioritize work according to production needs and operational constraints.
• Train and guide production operators on work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO).
• Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of ESD-controlled manufacturing practices in the electronic production environment.
• Monitor production output and identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshoot operational issues during production and coordinate with relevant departments when needed.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain to coordinate production plans and ensure material availability.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and support process improvements.
• Maintain order, safety, and organization across the production floor.
• Manage the operational warehouse supporting production, including material receiving, storage, issuing materials to the production line, and maintaining accurate inventory organization.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components, escalate shortages, and coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure production continuity.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of required production documentation, including production records, deviation reporting, and non-conformance documentation according to company procedures.
• Maintain a strong operational presence on the production floor and provide hands-on support to manufacturing activities when necessary, in order to address temporary capacity gaps or operational constraints.

Authorities

• Assign production operators to tasks according to the manufacturing plan provided by the Supply Chain Manager.
• Stop production activities in case of quality issues and report to the relevant functions within the organization.
• Set internal production priorities within the framework of the approved production plan.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree or Practical Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing supervision, or production management in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience working under regulated quality systems such as ISO 13485 or FDA requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Hebrew – full professional proficiency.
• English – high proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Strong understanding of electronic assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with manufacturing management methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and process improvement practices.
• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and production planning interfaces.
• Authorization or certification to perform employee training and qualification for production processes
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• High level of responsibility and commitment to quality.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to operational discipline.

Work environment

• Work is performed primarily on the production floor in an electronic assembly environment.
• The role requires frequent presence on the manufacturing line and direct interaction with production personnel.
• The production environment includes ESD-controlled areas and regulated manufacturing processes for medical electronic devices.
• The position requires coordination with multiple departments including Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering.
• Willing to travel as required, 20% traveling.
