Testers Engineering Manager

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced R&D Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team developing complex electro-optical test solutions to assure our depth sensing cameras meet the highest standards. This role requires a strong systems mindset, technical leadership, and the ability to manage engineers across electro-optics, software, algorithms, and mechanics in a highly dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering leader who can define and drive test strategy and implementation across the full product lifecycle—from concept, development, through full system integration and to supporting high-volume manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team (architecture, electro‑optics, systems, software, algorithms, mechanical, and test)
• Own technical leadership for electro‑optical tester architecture and development
• Drive tester development from R&D to mass production
• Lead integration, validation, and root‑cause analysis
• Improve test efficiency, cost, quality, and reliability

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or another multidisciplinary technical field
• 5+ years of experience developing complex sensing or electro‑optical systems
• 5+ years of managerial experience leading and scaling R&D or engineering teams in multidisciplinary environments, with full ownership of planning, execution, team development, and support of end‑to‑end product development
• Strong system‑level understanding across hardware, software, algorithms, and complex product/system integration
• Proven experience defining test architectures for high‑volume products, including validation strategies, tester design, and production‑line optimization
• Strong program and project management capabilities, including roadmap development and cross‑functional coordination
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills
