Software Team Lead

A successful Israeli Fintech company provides a leading cloud-native SaaS platform designed for global Banks and Financial Enterprises.

Their technology enables financial institutions to rapidly deploy intelligent, data-driven credit solutions ranging from business loans to consumer lending.

The platform automates the entire lifecycle, including AI-driven underwriting, risk management, and operational workflows, transforming traditional banking into a modern digital experience.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime high-tech district) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Multidisciplinary Leadership: Managing a high-caliber team of 10 engineers (including Backend, Frontend, QA, and DevOps), reporting to the R&D Director.
• Hands-on Technical Excellence: Maintaining a 50% hands-on involvement, driving core backend architecture and feature development using Java and Spring.
• Customer-Centric Engineering: Working directly with global Enterprise clients to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Agile Delivery: Leading the team within an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring high-velocity delivery without compromising on code quality or system stability.
• Technical Mentorship: Fostering the professional growth of team members across various disciplines while ensuring the scalability of the enterprise-grade platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management or technical leadership – Mandatory.
• Proven professional experience in Backend Development (specifically Java and Spring) – Mandatory.
• Direct Experience facing Enterprise Clients – Mandatory.
• Strong background in developing Enterprise-grade SaaS systems.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced R&D environment.
