Senior Algorithmic Researcher - JB-626

The role combines deep algorithmic research on raw data from operational systems, while developing and integrating advanced AI models to improve detection, classification, and protection.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Independently lead end-to-end research in the field of signal processing and information analysis from radar systems.
• Design and improve detection, tracking and target classification algorithms on multi-dimensional radar data.
• AI integration on raw data: Development of deep learning (DL) models designed to work directly on spectral signatures and raw data (Signal to Decision).
• Simulation and validation: Translation of physical and statistical models into applicable algorithms, conducting experiments and evaluating performance on real operational data.
• Experiments, validation and evaluating performance on operational data
• Work as part of an algorithmic research team, alongside independent leadership ability
• Writing research papers, algorithms and presenting findings

REQUIREMENTS

• Master's Degree). M.Sc (at least in Physics, Electrical Engineering with specialization in Signal Processing, or a relevant tangential field – required.
• 3 years of experience in research and development of algorithms with a clear specialization in radar systems and signal processing.
• Deep understanding of the physics of electromagnetic waves and radar systems
• Proven experience in combining Deep Learning models (Deep Learning) on sensor data, with an emphasis on
• spectral signatures and raw data.

Proven knowledge in:

• Advanced signal processing (FFT, Doppler, CFAR)
• Detection & Estimation Theory
• Radar configurations and detection methods
• Experience working with unstructured, noisy and high-volume data
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for algorithm development
• High mathematical and statistical analysis ability
