Senior Data Engineer - JB-627

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of critical data infrastructures that integrate multiple and diverse data sources.

In this role, you will design and build scalable data platforms that process both structured and unstructured data from operational systems, sensors, intelligence platforms, and external sources in secure, high-availability environments.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Design and lead complex data architectures.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate heterogeneous data sources and large-scale databases.
• Build and manage Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.
• Process data streams in near real-time environments.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and traceability.
• Collaborate with AI, algorithm, product, and development teams while driving best practices and technological standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in complex or mission-critical environments.
• Strong experience with structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Scala / Java.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch).
• Experience with Object Storage (S3, GCS, HDFS).
• Experience with ETL / orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, or Kinesis.
• Strong understanding of distributed data architectures and scalability.

ADVANTAGE

• Experience with Big Data frameworks (Spark, Flink).
• Experience working with video, image, text, or time-series data.
• Experience with search and indexing platforms (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch).
• Experience supporting AI / ML pipelines.
• Background in defense, intelligence, or highly secure environments.
