Role Overview:
Responsible for planning, operating and maintaining enterprise communication infrastructure and critical networking and security systems across campus environments. The role includes troubleshooting, risk management, security policy enforcement and leading infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, operate and maintain enterprise communication infrastructure
- Provide networking and information security solutions
- Troubleshoot issues and install communication equipment
- Identify and manage infrastructure and security risks
- Enforce security policies and standards
- Lead networking and information security projects
- Monitor and optimize network performance across campus environments
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in networking / communication infrastructure
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches
- Knowledge and experience in wireless networking
- Experience with Software-Defined Access (SDA) and related implementations
- Previous experience leading communication infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP and QoS
- Experience planning, installing, maintaining and monitoring communication systems
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Cisco DNA Center or Aruba Central
- Knowledge of network security and secure network design
- Experience troubleshooting and analyzing traffic using tools such as Wireshark, NetFlow and SPAN
