Role Overview:

Investigate and lead the handling of complex cyber incidents, manage escalations and provide professional support to Tier 1 analysts. The role includes deep analysis of security alerts, intrusion attempts and malicious activity, alongside proactive Threat Hunting and ongoing improvement of SOC detection capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and lead response to complex cyber incidents
• Handle escalations and support Tier 1 analysts
• Analyze security alerts, phishing, malware and unauthorized access events
• Perform proactive Threat Hunting using methodologies such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Analyze network traffic and perform basic endpoint forensics
• Tune and optimize SIEM / XDR rules to reduce false positives
• Identify process gaps and improve SOC operations
• Train and mentor analysts within the team

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience as a Tier 2 SOC Analyst
• Proven experience investigating, analyzing and responding to security incidents
• Experience working and investigating in multi-cloud environments (AWS / Azure)
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as FW, IPS, WAF, XDR / EDR, SIEM, Email Security and Deception tools
• Strong understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and network traffic analysis using logs or tools such as Wireshark
• Ability to write technical reports in Hebrew and English
