We are looking for a talented Technical Sample Maker to join our R&D Team and create high-quality prototypes of tactical gear, sewing and testing design concepts while ensuring durability and production readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Prototype Construction: Sew high-quality samples of tactical gear and soft goods using industrial sewing machines and specialized tools.
• Design Feedback: Work with designers to review patterns and suggest improvements for better fit, strength, or ease of assembly.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential construction issues early and propose practical solutions to fix them.
• Production Readiness: Help determine the best assembly sequence and estimate the time required to sew each item for mass production.
• Quality Control: Ensure all prototypes meet the company’s standards for precision, durability, and professional finish.

Requirements:

• Sewing Expertise: High proficiency with industrial sewing machines (walking foot, bar tacker, etc.).
• Technical Understanding: Ability to read and follow technical drawings and patterns.
• Material Knowledge: Experience working with heavy fabrics, webbing, and tactical hardware.
• Attention to Detail: A focus on accuracy and clean finishing in every sample.
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to communicate clearly with designers to improve the final product.
