Role
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to lead Verification & Validation (V&V) activities in the field of transcatheter heart valves.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading end-to-end system-level V&V activities, from planning through execution
• Writing and reviewing test protocols, reports, and technical documentation
• Supporting regulatory submissions with verification evidence and technical justifications
• Working cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Operations, QA/RA, and Clinical teams
• Coordinating activities with external laboratories and vendors
• Ensuring traceability to design inputs, risk management, and applicable standards
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3–5 years of experience in medical device development and V&V (cardiovascular experience – an advantage)
• Excellent English communication and technical writing skills
• Strong ownership, independence, and execution capabilities
Preferred:
• Experience with ISO 10993 biocompatibility testing
• Sterilization validation (EO, Steam, Liquid chemical)
• Sterile barrier systems & packaging validation (ISO 11607)
• Familiarity with EU MDR (2017/745)
