The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with one day remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Scalable Backend Engineering: Developing high-performance backend systems as part of a core R&D unit.
• Modern Stack Migration: Transitioning from a strong C# foundation to a cutting-edge environment based on Node.js and TypeScript.
• High-Scale Infrastructure: Building and optimizing services using NestJS, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Data-Intensive Development: Designing and managing complex data architectures leveraging PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Feature Leadership: Taking end-to-end ownership of backend features, from architectural design to production-scale deployment within a high-growth environment.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Backend Development experience (specifically in C#) – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in high-growth startups, established tech firms, or elite military technological units – Mandatory.
• Academic Excellence: B.Sc. in a technical discipline from a top-tier university OR alumni of an elite military technological unit – Mandatory.
• Strong architectural understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native environments.
• Ability to master new technologies (Node.js/TypeScript) and apply them to complex, production-grade systems.
