Python Developer

An Israeli Offensive Cyber startup conducts mission-critical research and development for major national security entities. The company develops advanced technological means and high-scale systems to address complex challenges across vulnerability research, operating systems, cloud environments, and AI.

Combining significant national impact with extraordinary professional challenges, this rapidly growing organization of approximately 50 experts is dedicated to shaping strategic security capabilities.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location with direct train access). Due to high-level security protocols, the role is fully office-based with flexible working hours.

Role Overview:

• Mission-Critical Development: Joining a specialized core team to develop Backend components for operational cyber systems (Offensive & Defensive).
• Network Systems Engineering: Designing and implementing complex communication systems, focusing on high-performance networking protocols and architectures.
• Scalable Architectures: Building robust, high-scale systems utilizing Python, Kafka, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Systems Programming: Working deeply within Linux environments to develop low-level communication features and security mechanisms.
• End-to-End Ownership: Participating in the full R&D lifecycle of strategic security tools, from architectural design to operational deployment.

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional Software Development experience – Mandatory.
• Deep proficiency in Python (recent experience) – Mandatory.
• Significant experience in Network Systems development (e.g., development of Firewalls, Routers, or complex communication protocols) – Mandatory.
• Strong background in Linux environments and system-level programming.
• Experience with distributed systems and message brokers (e.g., Kafka).
• Ability to pass a national security clearance process.
