Senior AI Transformation Project Lead (Freelance)

AI to Z partners with organizations to lead end-to-end AI transformation —

from strategy and opportunity mapping to execution and measurable business impact.

We focus on integrating AI into core business processes, working closely with executives and business units to turn AI into a real driver of productivity, decision-making, and growth.

We are looking for a Senior Project Lead to join us in delivering AI transformation programs across enterprise clients.

This is not a traditional project management role —

and not a purely technical role.

You will work directly with leadership teams to:

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities
• Translate business needs into actionable initiatives
• Lead real change across teams and processes

• Lead discovery processes and AI opportunity mapping within organizations
• Build high-quality executive-level deliverables (presentations, roadmaps, opportunity maps)
• Bridge business needs with technology (working with IT, Data teams, and partners)
• Drive organizational change and adoption of new ways of working
• Manage projects end-to-end with direct client interaction

• Professionals with experience in consulting, transformation, or project leadership
• Strong experience working with executives and mid-management
• Someone who can lead processes — not just participate in them
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly organized with strong delivery capabilities
• Curious about technology and AI, with a real interest in how it creates business value

This role is not a fit for:

• Junior candidates or those early in their careers
• Profiles with only theoretical AI knowledge and no real execution experience
• Purely technical roles without business/organizational exposure
