We are seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer (FinOps) for a government organization located in central Israel.
Responsibilities:
- Working with public cloud infrastructures, including setup, operation, and maintenance of cloud environments for enterprise systems, with full responsibility for operational and financial (FinOps) aspects
- Writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code
- Managing backup and recovery processes
- Ongoing monitoring, measurement, and optimization of cloud consumption and resource allocation across servers and services according to changing needs
- Supporting business units in implementing solutions
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience working with public cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience in planning, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructures, including writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / ARM / CloudFormation and managing backup and recovery
- Experience in monitoring, control, and optimization of cloud resources, including working with monitoring tools and defining KPIs
- Experience in financial monitoring of cloud operations (FinOps), cost analysis, and budget optimization
