Automation Engineer

A pioneering Israeli Digital Health startup is developing the world’s first "Hybrid Medicine" platform, combining physical therapeutic agents with advanced digital applications to treat neurodegenerative diseases, beginning with Parkinson's.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates an in-office model to foster high-velocity collaboration within its multidisciplinary team.

Role Overview:

• Hybrid Quality Assurance: Maintaining a balanced role (50/50 split) between high-level Manual Testing and the development of Mobile Automation frameworks.
• Automation Engineering: Designing and implementing automation scripts for Flutter-based mobile applications using Appium.
• Cross-Platform Testing: Ensuring the seamless performance of digital health tools across various mobile environments, focusing on mission-critical reliability for patients.
• Core Team Impact: Working as a key member of a compact QA team, directly influencing the stability and release cycles of life-impacting software.
• Technological Versatility: Utilizing a diverse stack; while the focus is on Flutter/Appium, the role allows for professional growth and adaptation from other programming backgrounds.

Requirements:

• 3 years of professional experience in a combined Manual and Automation QA role – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in Mobile Testing (iOS/Android) – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Appium – Mandatory.
• Strong Automation Development skills in any modern programming language (willingness to work with Flutter) – Mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex software-hardware-biotech ecosystems.
• High level of attention to detail and a passion for mission-driven technology.
