Staff DevOps Engineer

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will own production infrastructure across our cloud environments and work closely with platform, dev-infra and automation tests teams to drive operational excellence. You need to be ready to lead cross-team initiatives, proactively identify areas for optimization, and define scope both for yourself and the team.

You will be responsible for:

• Keeping production stable and working, having a dedicated team as a first line of support
• Improvement of existing CI/CD processes based on the feedback from product and infra teams
• Improving the organization's FinOps posture

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience with FinOps best practices, including identifying excessive cloud spending across different categories
• Experience leading complex infrastructure projects (e.g. migration from one cloud provider to another)
• Experience with AWS: RDS, Networking, EKS, EC2, Fargate
• Experience implementing and designing disaster recovery strategies
• Experience with IaaC-based infrastructure
• Proficiency in Python/Go, as most of the infrastructure components are written in these languages
